Who we are
This website, novaraonepoint.com, is operated by Novara OnePoint LLC, a California limited liability company providing bookkeeping, payroll, tax preparation and consulting services. Questions about this policy can be sent to info@novaraonepoint.com.
Information we collect
- Information you send us. When you use our contact form or email us, we receive what you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number (optional), the service you are interested in, and your message.
- Client information. If you become a client, we collect the financial and tax information needed to provide our services. This is handled under a separate engagement agreement and is not collected through this website.
- Technical information. Our hosting provider automatically processes basic technical data, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use information
We use the information you provide to respond to your inquiry, schedule consultations, prepare quotes, and provide services you request. We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us operate, such as our website host (Netlify, which processes contact form submissions) and email provider, and only as needed to provide those services. We may also disclose information when required by law. Tax return information is used and disclosed only as permitted by federal law (Internal Revenue Code section 7216) and California law, and is never used for any other purpose without your written consent.
Please don't send sensitive documents through the form
Do not send Social Security numbers, tax documents or account numbers through the contact form or regular email. If you become a client, we will give you a secure way to share documents.
How long we keep information
We keep inquiry information only as long as needed to respond and follow up. Client records are kept for the periods required by law and professional standards.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
Your California privacy rights
California residents may request to know what personal information we have about them, ask us to correct or delete it, and opt out of any sale or sharing (we do not sell or share personal information). We will not discriminate against you for making a request. To make a request, email info@novaraonepoint.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
